Adult ADHD assessment, diagnosis and treatment, online across Ireland.
Three secure video appointments with a consultant psychiatrist-led team, following the HSE Model of Care for ADHD in Adults. €950 all-inclusive. No referral, no waiting list.
ADHD in adults looks like this.
Adult ADHD is common, often missed, and highly treatable. It shows up in three ways, and most people have a mix:
- Inattention. Losing focus mid-task, forgetting deadlines and appointments, half-finished projects, an inbox you cannot get on top of.
- Hyperactivity. Restlessness, difficulty staying seated through a meeting, talking more than you mean to, a constant sense of internal urgency.
- Impulsivity. Hasty decisions, interrupting, impatience, difficulty waiting your turn, emotions that spill over into conflict.
At work it looks like missed deadlines. In study, poor time management. In relationships, conflict over small things. If that is familiar, an assessment gives you a clear answer either way.

€950
For adults 18+ who suspect ADHD and want a formal diagnosis
One all-inclusive fee covers the complete pathway: screening questionnaires, the 90-minute DIVA-5 structured interview, your results consultation, diagnosis, treatment plan, prescription if indicated, written report and GP letter. Three appointments, all by secure video.
Questionnaires and clinician call
Online · Within 24 hours of booking
Two validated screeners arrive by email, one for current symptoms and one for childhood, as the HSE Model of Care requires. A clinician calls within 24 hours to confirm an assessment is the right next step.
Structured DIVA-5 assessment
90 minutes · Secure video call
A one-to-one clinical interview using the DIVA-5 under DSM-5 criteria, with Dr Raaj or an assistant psychologist working under his supervision. A partner or family member is welcome to join for collateral history.
Results consultation, report and GP letter
30 minutes · Secure video call with Dr Raaj
Your diagnosis explained, a holistic treatment plan agreed and medication started if indicated. A written diagnostic report follows as a password-protected PDF, with a letter to your GP so your care is coordinated.
Recognised by Laya Healthcare and VHI, subject to your plan. An itemised receipt with the IMC registration number is issued for insurance claims and tax relief.
Medication, done safely.
Not everyone needs medication. If it is recommended after your assessment, three things happen around the first prescription:
- GP cardiovascular check. Blood pressure, heart rate, and an ECG if you or your family have a history of heart conditions. We tell you exactly what to ask your GP for.
- Prescription by Secure HealthMail. Sent to your nominated GP or pharmacy, never by ordinary email. The fee includes any script issued during the appointment.
- Titration follow-ups. Short reviews with Dr Raaj while the dose is adjusted: 20 minutes for €150 or 30 minutes for €200.
Once you are stable, reviews continue regularly, typically every six months [CONFIRM: review interval], and a repeat prescription costs €40.
A diagnosis is the start, not the end.
Your treatment plan is agreed at the results consultation and can include:
- Medication and reviews with Dr Raaj, adjusted as you go.
- The six-week CBT group for ADHD. Practical skills for time, tasks and organisation, online, €300.
- One-to-one psychological therapy with a chartered psychologist for executive functioning, anxiety or low mood.
The practical details.
- Insurance. Laya Healthcare and VHI recognise Dr Raaj. Cover depends on your plan, so check before booking.
- Receipts and tax relief. Every appointment comes with an itemised receipt showing the IMC number, for your insurer and for 20 percent tax relief on medical expenses through Revenue.
- Payment. Card, Apple Pay, Revolut or bank transfer at booking. Klarna pay-in-3 instalments available.
- Cancellations. 48 hours' notice to change or cancel without charge.
- Hours. Monday to Friday 9am to 9pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am to 5pm. Evening and weekend appointments available across the Republic of Ireland.
How does the online assessment for adult ADHD work?
In line with College of Psychiatrists of Ireland and Royal College of Psychiatrists guidelines, using DSM-5 criteria and the DIVA-5 structured interview for ADHD in adults. Two questionnaires, a 90-minute interview and a 30-minute results consultation, by secure video.
Do I need a GP referral?
No. You book directly online. If your GP prefers to refer you, they can do so by Secure HealthMail to mindbridge@healthmail.ie.
Can I get medication following an online appointment?
Yes, where clinically indicated. The prescription is sent by Secure HealthMail to your GP or pharmacy. Before stimulant medication, your GP checks blood pressure and heart rate, with an ECG if there is a personal or family history of heart conditions.
Will I get a copy of my report?
Yes. Your diagnostic report comes as a password-protected PDF with findings, diagnosis and treatment plan, and a letter goes to your GP to support coordinated care.
I already have an ADHD diagnosis. Do I have to repeat the assessment?
No. Our transfer of care service reviews your existing diagnosis in a 60-minute appointment with Dr Raaj and takes over prescribing and reviews for €450. About transfer of care →
Care that continues after the diagnosis.
