Psychological therapy, CBT and addiction counselling, online across Ireland.
Chartered psychologists and an addiction counsellor working alongside the consultant psychiatrist. Individual CBT from €150 a session, a six-week CBT group for ADHD for €300, addiction counselling €80.
Practical skills, not just talking.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a structured, evidence-based treatment built on the link between thoughts, emotions and behaviour. Developed by the psychiatrist Aaron Beck in the 1960s, it is now among the most researched psychological treatments in the world. It is collaborative and goal-oriented: identify unhelpful thinking patterns, understand how they drive feelings and actions, and build practical coping strategies and routines that last.
For adults with ADHD, CBT targets the executive-functioning problems medication does not fix on its own: procrastination, poor organisation, time management, emotional dysregulation, rejection sensitivity, low motivation and difficulty starting or finishing tasks. It suits adults with ADHD or autism, diagnosed or suspected, people already on ADHD medication who want more support, and anyone living with anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD or stress.

Addiction counselling
€80 / session
With Ms Navina Shaila, Addiction Counsellor · 50-minute video sessions
Confidential, person-centred counselling for substance dependence (alcohol, cocaine, cannabis, opioids, benzodiazepines and other drugs) and behavioural addictions (gambling, gaming, pornography, shopping, internet, binge eating, work, exercise), using CBT, motivational interviewing and relapse prevention. Ms Shaila trained in addiction counselling in Ireland and holds a dual master's degree in the field. Usually six to ten sessions.
ADHD and addiction are linked. Irish data show one in five people in drug and alcohol treatment have ADHD symptoms, rising to more than one in three among benzodiazepine users. Low dopamine activity drives impulsive people towards quick rewards, and adults with ADHD are two to three times more likely to develop a substance use disorder. Counselling that identifies triggers and integrates ADHD treatment breaks the self-medication cycle and markedly reduces relapse.
10-session Recovery Journey package: €725, a saving of €75. No expiry date; book the first session and gift-code vouchers for the other nine follow.
