How it works

Three payments, no interest.

Klarna Pay in 3 splits your fee into three equal payments at 0% APR. You pay the first now. Klarna collects the other two automatically, 30 and 60 days later, from the same card. There is no interest, and no fee for paying on time.

  1. Choose your service below and press Pay with Klarna. A secure checkout opens in a new tab.
  2. Complete the Klarna approval. It takes about a minute and Klarna shows you the exact amounts and dates before you confirm.
  3. We email your voucher code once the payment goes through.
  4. Book your appointment at book an appointment and enter the voucher code to confirm it.

From there Klarna manages the instalments. You can see your payment dates, and settle early at no extra cost, in the Klarna app. Your itemised receipt for Laya, VHI and Revenue claims is the same as for any other payment method.

Before you start

What to know about Klarna.

We would rather be straight with you than have you find out at the checkout.

  • Klarna is a credit agreement and approval is subject to status. Klarna decides, not us.
  • You must be 18 or over and resident in the Republic of Ireland.
  • Klarna sets an individual limit for each customer. On our higher-cost assessments your limit may not cover the full fee.
  • Late payments may incur fees and may affect your credit report.
  • If Klarna is declined, nothing is lost. You can still book and pay by card, Apple Pay, Revolut or bank transfer.
  • Cancellations need 48 hours' notice; with less notice the appointment fee may be charged. Your Klarna agreement is separate from the appointment, so tell us as early as you can.

MindBridge Medical is not a lender and does not provide credit. Klarna is the credit provider and your agreement is with Klarna. Credit subject to status. 18+, ROI residents only. Terms and conditions and late fees apply. If you do not meet the repayments on your BNPL agreement, your account will go into arrears. This may affect your credit report, which may limit your ability to access a BNPL agreement in the future.

Common questions
Does paying with Klarna cost more than paying by card?

No. Pay in 3 is 0% APR, so you pay the same total as by card, provided you meet each instalment on time.

Will applying for Klarna affect my credit rating?

Klarna carries out a check when you apply, and missed repayments may affect your credit report. Klarna explains exactly what it records in its own terms, which you see before you agree to anything.

Can I pay Klarna off early?

Yes. You can settle the remaining instalments at any time in the Klarna app at no extra cost.

Can someone else pay for my assessment?

Yes. A family member or partner can complete the Klarna payment and pass you the voucher code. The Klarna agreement is in the name of whoever pays.

Can I still claim from Laya or VHI if I paid with Klarna?

Yes. Your itemised receipt is the same whichever way you pay, and you claim from your insurer and Revenue in the usual way. How to claim →

What if Klarna declines me?

Nothing is lost. Book at book an appointment and pay by card, Apple Pay, Revolut or bank transfer. Your appointment and your care are exactly the same. More questions →

Rather pay another way?

Card, Apple Pay, Revolut and bank transfer are all taken at booking, and Laya and VHI members can claim with the receipt.
